Carnival rides, food, games and county livestock from the FFA and 4H Clubs are a great source of wholesome entertainment and county pride. Adjacent to the county fair grounds is the Citrus County Speedway. Spectators fill the stands as stock cars race by at unbelievable speeds on this tight asphalt track.
Other activities in Inverness Florida include the many parks and hiking and biking trails that cover the county. The Withlacoochee State Forest and Whispering Pines Park are just two of the many destinations where you can enjoy all that the natural surroundings have to offer.
